On August 9, 1989, Andre the Giant (aka Andre Roussimoff) was arrested by the Linn County, Iowa sheriff.

Andre was charged with assault after the over 7' ft. tall, 540-pound professional wrestler allegedly roughed up a local TV cameraman.
