Rey Mysterio fractures his tailbone.

In early 1994 during a AAA lucha libre tag-team match pinning Rey Mysterio Jr. & Psicosis versus Juventud Guerrera and an unknown tag-team partner, Mysterio suffered the very first serious injury of his career.

After Guerrera had ended up on the outside of the ring, Mysterio attempted to be catipulted by Psicosis over the top rope and into the waiting arms of Juvi.

The spot was almost executed perfectly except Psicosis threw Mysterio a little too high into the air. Juventud was too close to the ring and completely missed Rey Jr., causing Rey to land tailbone first onto the hard concrete from a near 12 foot drop.

Mysterio was only out of action for a few weeks before returning to the ring.
