Triple H/Kurt Angle crash through announce table.

On August 27, 2000 at WWE's Summerslam pay-per-view, The Rock was set to defend his World Heavyweight title against Triple H and Kurt Angle in a Triple Threat match.

Early on in the match, Triple H set up Kurt Angle for a pedigree on top of the spanish announce team's table. When they jumped, the weight of their momentum caused the table to collapse. Kurt Angle violently smacked his forehead against a corner of the broken table with all of Triple H's weight coming down on the impact, almost inadvertently turning into a real pedigree.

Triple H stated on his WWE DVD The Game that Earl Hebner was getting several panicked and complex instructions in his earpeice from the back.

Meanwhile, Angle laid on the ground for several minutes with a blank stare on his face. He had been dazed, and was not getting up, forcing Triple H & the Rock to improvise more so. The two men did quite well, and Angle was able to return to the match for the finish.
