Taka Michinoku receives concussion druing Royal Rumble.

During WWE's 2000 Royal Rumble match at Madison Square Garden on January 23, Taka Michinoku and partner Funaki were elminiated several times through the match and repeatidly tried to reenter. As quickly as they would join the ring again, they would be thrown out seconds later.

Taka's final time came at the hands of Big Bossman who "threw" Taka over the ropes with such momentum, Michinoku over rotated his flip out of the ring which caused him to land directly on his face with a sickening thud.

The impact caused a concussion and a dislocated shoulder in the process which forced him to stay out of the ring for a short while.
