Rick Steiner/Buff Bagwell bulldog botch

During the April 22, 1998 episode of Thunder, Marcus "Buff" Bagwell failed to land correctly during a top rope bulldog from Rick Steiner. Buff suffered damage to several vertebrae and developed spinal shock syndrome from the slip up.

After having neck surgery, the wheelchair bound Bagwell returned to WCW on July 6 in his home state of Georgia where he was seen climbing out of the wheelchair and fighting Rick Steiner after forgiving him.

That fight later saw them successfully do the top rope bulldog, the same move that caused the accident.
