Sid Vicious breaks his leg.

On January 14, 2001, in a four corners match featuring Scott Steiner, Jeff Jarrett, and Road Warrior Animal, Sid Vicious leaped off the second rope to do a super-kick to Scott Steiner.

The result was one of the most gruesome images seen in wrestling. Sid Vicious landed awkwardly on his leg which caused it to snap. 1wrestling.com had an interesting tidbit to that story.

"Sid remembers Steiner walking around Sid and actually almost tripping over his shattered leg, which caused Sid more pain." *

Sid was unable to fully walk on it for 13 months, and still to this day has trouble running.
