The Giant drops Randy Savage onto a ring pole and steps..

On October 7, 1996, "Macho Man' Randy Savage was set to take on "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair on WCW's Monday Nitro main event.

The match never took place due to major interference from the nWo attacking both wrestlers. "Hollywood" Hogan, Vincent, & The Giant attacked Savage backstage and The Giant was set to carry Savage on his shoulders to the ring.

The Giant almost made it.

Unfortunately for Savage, just when the Giant was about to take that last step onto the ring, all of the Savage's and The Giant's weight was mainly on the right side of the ring steps causing them to tilt.

The Giant lost his balance and dropped the Macho Man on the back of his neck onto the ring pole which caused him to crash violently on the ring steps.
