Daniel Puder Shoots on Kurt Angle.

During the November 4, 2004 edition of WWE’s Smackdown from St. Louis, Missouri at the Savvis Center Kurt Angle was doing a segment with the Tough Enough Contestants.

After easily defeating Chris Nawrocki, Kurt Angle asked if any of the other contestants wanted to face off against him.

Daniel Puder, who had a background in MMA, answered the challenge and got into the ring with Kurt.

What was supposed to be a quick squash match, Puder decided to try to make a name for himself by shooting on angle and getting him in the Kimura and tried to make him tap.

Backstage they knew Kurt was in trouble, so the call came in to make the 3 count on Puder even though his shoulders weren’t down the entire time.

Kurt then got in Puders face and was visibly upset about what just went down, Angle then told everyone they weren’t tough enough and sent them to the back.
