Ric Flair cuts promo in front of Roddy Piper's background. In February of 1992, after Ric Flair became the WWE world's heavyweight champion at the Royal Rumble, he was set in a feud against his old nemesis Roddy Piper for a one-on-one match. Before the match began, Roddy Piper cut a promo in front of WWE's old custom blue screen, which would display logo graphics of each wrestler on the roster. Another match was shown, and then it came time for Ric Flair to do his promo. Flair, with his "Executive Consultant" Mr. Perfect, for several seconds began cutting a promo with Roddy Piper's back drop behind them. The technician realized what was going on and changed back drops in mid-promo, skipping over the WWE's Main Event backdrop and then finally Flairs. |
