Fire death match gets out of control.

On May 6, 1992, during a FMW No-Rope/Barbed-wire/Tornado Tag-Team Fire Death match, Sabu and The Sheik took on Atushi Onita and Tarzan Goto. The match took place at an outside facility at the Nichii Sanda in Sanda City, Hyogo. In this particular fire death match, there were pads laced with kerosene on the top, middle, and bottom strands of barbed-wire.

The match went to a no-contest because during the first minute, one of the bottom flaming pads got caught in a gust of wind and set a good portion of the ring on fire. This caused all 4 wrestlers and the referee to scramble out of the ring in panic and carry on the match.

At only 2 minutes into the match, the referee called for the bell to sound and the match be a no-contest due to the inferno. Onita suffered minor burns and had to be covered in buckets of water as he laid on the outside of the ring.
