JBL shoots on The Blue Meanie. .

Towards the end of ECW's pay-per-view One Night Stand on June 12, 2005, the entire ECW locker room ended up in the ring with the WWE RAW/Smackdown invaders. Two of these men were ECW's The Blue Meanie and WWE's JBL.

When all the wrestlers began to attack each other in the ring, the video clip shows JBL heading straight towards The Blue Meanie, as the Blue Meanie was "punching" another wrestler. JBL started landing hard hits on The Blue Meanie, reopening stitches he had received the previous night and giving him a black eye.

Shortly there after, early internet reports had claimed that Meanie had been "talking trash" about JBL for months prior to the incident on his web site, which is what caused JBL to strike. JBL told a much different story when two weeks later when WWE.com ran a news article letting both wrestlers explain their side of the story.**
