Kareem breaks his ankle in ECW debut appearance.

On September 14, 1996, Raven was set to defend his ECW Championship title against Pitbull #2 at the ECW Arena.

In typical (original) ECW style, the match was loaded with outside
interference from Raven's Nest, Pitbull #1, Francine, the Sandman, Shane Douglas and a 350 lbs. man named Kareem. Most do not remember, or have ever heard of, Kareem due to this incident as it would be his one-and-only ECW appearance.

During the match, Shane Douglas laid out Pitbull #2 and ordered Kareem to do a splash off the top rope. When he went to leap for Pitbull #2, who was near the middle of the ring, Kareem didn't make the jump to say the least.

The result was Kareem breaking his ankle in a sickening snap that echoed throughout the ECW Arena, thus making that match his only professional wrestling appearance ever.
