J.T. Smith suicide dives face first onto concrete.

On September 16, 1995 at ECW's Gangsta's Paradise, ECW legend J.T. Smith was wrestling against Hack Meyers in another rematch from their on-going feud.

At one point in the match when Hack Meyers was on the outside of the ring, J.T. Smith executed a move that has hurt himself and his career on more than one occasion, the suicide dive. Even though Smith had his back nearly snap in half over a guardrail courtesy of Mike Awesome's suicide dive 2 years earlier, his own attempt at the maneuver proved to be just as successful as Awesome's.

When J.T. dove over, his kneepad/ankle caught the top rope slowing his forward motion just enough to cause him to land face first, smashing his temple on the concrete floor. As the video shows and Joey Styles informs, Smith's side of his head instantly swelled to a clot the size of a golf ball. The botch resulted in the typical "You f***ed up!" chant from the ECW crowd.

Smith was unable to continue the match of course and resulted in him losing via count out and out of ECW for two months.
