"Mean" Gene Okerlund frightened during interview.

While the WWF ring crew set up the cage match between the Ultimate Warrior & "Ravishing" Rick Rude at Summerslam 89 on August 17, "Mean" Gene Okerlund was in the back buying time interviewing Rude and Bobby Heenan before the match.

Within seconds of the interview starting, Gene's words were cut off when the Summerslam logo sign behind the three men collapsed to the ground.

Our video clip is a WWE-edited clip, which is why you can't hear a panicked Gene dropping the F-bomb when it happened.
