Homicide Ruptures Steve Corino's Ear Drum.

On August 16, 2003 at Ring of Honor's "Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies" in Fairfield, Connecticut, Homicide took on Steve Corino in a grudge match main event.

Five minutes into the match, after Homicide slapped Corino into the corner, Corino charged out of the corner and shoved Homicide back. This prompted Homicide to slap Corino even harder.

Only this time, Homicide landed his slap across Corino's left ear and ruptured his ear drum. Corino was visibly hurt as he exited the ring quickly and began favoring his ear.

Corino has lost most of the hearing in his left ear as a result of the slap.
