Fan gets tackled and beaten by Randy Savage. On May 17, 1999, "Macho Man" Randy Savage began attacking Kevin Nash after their match in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After Savage had subdued Nash, he pulled out lipstick and began drawing all over Nash's face. When he was done, he held Nash's face up to the camera for all the world to see. While doing this, a fan jumped the guardrail and tried to make his way into the ring, seemingly for nothing more other than to get on television. Even as the fan was being tackled by security and beaten by Savage, he held his hand up in the air as a gesture of victory. The fan was able to make it past security into the waiting arms of Savage, who took him to the ground and began punching his head. Savage, so caught up in the moment, even took a swing at security in the ring who was trying to remove the fan. The fan's literal 10 seconds of fame included a beat down from Randy Savage and a newly aquatinted arrest record. |
