TNA fan attacks - Jeff Jarrett/Americas Most Wanted/TNA Security attack back.

During the months of August/September 2006, TNA was in the process of an angle where the fans of TNA would get their "revenge" on Jeff Jarrett for screwing them over so many times during his World Heavyweight Title run. Jim Cornette set up a match at TNA's No Surrender pay-per-view where Jarrett would have to face Samoa Joe in a first ever Fans Revenge match. Similar to a lumberjack match except real fans with real straps would surround the ring and whip Jarrett back into it if he was thrown or ran out.

Weeks leading into the match, Jarrett did several spots where he would attack plants (fake audience members) including an older woman with a leather strap and a teenage fan he dragged over the guardrail and began beating.

So on the September 4th taping of TNA's Impact, a fan cam caught something that TNA didn't show us. Jeff Jarrett was doing his usual heel moniquer and taunting fans at ringside. Earlier in the night, a plant-fan hopped the guardrail and attacked Jarrett, to which Jarrett retaliated victoriously. This may have been the leading confusion as to why this next fan made it as far as he did before he was stopped.

After Jarrett beat up on the plant, he grabbed the mic and began mocking and taunting the fans, one in particular: A front-row fan wearing a WWE Rey Mysterio mask who was taunting Jarrett back during his whole promo. Jarrett kept pointing and asking for the fan to come into the ring, which we all should know if a wrestler ever does that, you still do not jump that guardrail. After enough peer pressure took hold, the fan then climbed over the guardrail to which security had no responce too, although a referee is clearly seen trying to stop/warn the fan.

The fan strolled up to Jarrett who met him with a barrage of punches and kicks. After the fan lifted his knee towards Jarrett, he grabbed the fan's head and began choking him with the top ring rope until Americas Most Wanted, Samoa Joe, and TNA security made it to the ring. After Jarrett and the fan were seperated, AMW continued to assault the fan as he was held by security, and then escorted out of the building.
