Fan gets a beat down by referee Mark Curtis.

During the September 8th, 1997 edition of WCW Monday Nitro, Dean Malenko took on Psychosis in a singles match.

During the match a fan attempted to run into the ring and interfere with the match. Usually in this event, security or the wrestlers themselves put a stop to it. This time however they were no match for the referee, Mark Curtis (Brian Hildebrand).

As the fan slid into the ring Mark kicked the fan in the head and took him down with a front facelock. Security quickly entered and grabbed the fan from Mark’s submission and took him away.
