Eddie and Doug Gilbert shoot on W*ING after quitting.

In November of 1995, Eddie Gilbert (dressed as Michael Myers) & The Crypt Keeper took on Doug Gilbert (dressed as Freddy Krueger) and Leatherface in a tag-team match for Japan's W*ING promotion.

At this point in their career, Eddie and Doug were angry about how they and other locker room members were being used by the promotion and had become fed up with the owner, Victor Quinones. They decided
to retaliate by quitting the company in the middle of this match.

As soon as Eddie hit the ring, he rolled his brother up in a small-package for the referee to make the three-count. However, the bell had not sounded yet so the referee was confused as to what to do. Eddie stood up and told the referee to signal for the bell. As soon as the bell sounded, Doug whipped Eddie into the ropes who then reversed it into a sunset flip. The referee made the three-count, and the match was over in 14 seconds.

This was not the planned finish as the match was suppose to be a wild brawl with Doug pinning Eddie. Nobody but the Gilbert's knew they were going to do this which obviously led to Leatherface and The Crypt Keeper being confused as to what was going on.

The Gilbert's unmasked soon afterwards, grabbed the mic, and began shooting on W*ING and the Quinones. They degraded their gimmicks of wearing halloween masks, called Quinones a "piece of s--t promoter" and declared their allegiance to All-Japan Pro Wrestling. Eddie then went on a tirade and began yelling at the referee and fans telling them all to leave the building.
