Dynamite Kid severely injures his back.

On December 13, 1986 in Hamilton Ontario, Dynamite Kid and Dave Boy Smith (as the British Bulldogs) took on "Cowboy" Bob Orton and the Magnificent Muraco for the WWF World Tag Team Titles.

During the match, Dynamite Kid ran into the ropes and, in an unfortunate and awkward movement, caused himself massive back damage including two torn lumbar discs.

The match continued but Dynamite was quickly rushed to the hospital and would not return until five weeks later. Many thought that was a terrible decision and could have very well caused the massive decline in his health since the injury.
