Buzz Sawyer Fractures His Wrist During Splash.

During WCW’s Wrestle War 1990: Wild Thing took place on February 25, 1990 from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina., Kevin Sullivan and Buzz Sawyer took on The Dynamic Dudes (Shane Douglas and Johnny Ace).

The finish of the match saw Buzz Sawyer give a splash from the top rope. As he came down he landed very painfully on his left wrist causing a serious fracture.

After the injury, Buzz never returned to WCW and would wrestle for independent feds until his death in 1992.
