Brock Lesnar's Wrestlemania shooting star press.

On March 30, 2003, Brock Lesnar reached the ultimate high: Winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania XIX. However, Lesnar was just inches away from leaving Wrestlemania in a stretcher when he botched what could've been the highlight reel for the biggest sports entertainment event of the year.

Towards the end of the match, Lesnar climbed the turnbuckle and attempted, in my opinion, the most dangerous move in professional wrestling: the shooting star press. This move is usually attempted by smaller, cruiserweight wrestlers and is rarely seen done by a man of Lesnar's size. Lesnar had done the move perfectly several times during his stint at WWE training camp, Ohio Valley Wrestling, so this attempt was not unusual.

As the footage shows, Lesnar's forehead was the first and only thing to hit Kurt Angle. The botched move gave Lesnar a concussion which caused Angle to improvise the finish of the match. Later, Brock admitted in interviews that this event took away some of his confidence and led to him realizing that he could get seriously hurt in the ring, which caused his decision in trying out for the NFL.
