Steve Austin compresses Masahio Chono's vertebre.
In 1992, during Battle Arena 92 on a New Japan Pro Wrestling card, "Stunning" Steve Austin took on Masahiro Chono for the NWA World Heavyweight title.
Nearly 20 minutes into the match, Austin gave Chono a sit-down tombstone piledriver; the same priledriver that injured Austin several years later during a WWE Intercontinental title match against Owen Hart.
Everything seemed fine as Chono was moving around, though showing signs of injury, holding his head. Chono's right arm went numb several times during the match, forcing the finish of the match to happen earlier than anticipated.
Chono walked away with a compressed vertrebre from the piledriver.
