Kurt Angle suplexes Shane McMahon into "breakable" glass.

Kurt Angle took on Shane McMahon in a street fight during King of the Ring 2001 on June 24 from the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

In the most climatic spot of the match, Angle and Shane had ended up at the KOTR entrance ramp. There, Angle grabbed Shane and threw an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. The obvious plan was for Shane to crash through the glass.

That didn't happen.

The "breakable" glass did not break at all, only slightly caved in from McMahon's body causing him to land awkwardly on his head. If you watch the video, you can clearly see and hear Shane McMahon's head thump the hard floor. Throughout the rest of the match, this would happen two more times as the other set piece was used in a similar manor.

Thankfully, Shane did not suffer any serious injuries from the match.
