Akeem Falls through the ropes during a tag move

During WWE’s “The Main Event II” that took place on February 3, 1989 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin The Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage) (w/Miss Elizabeth) took on The Twin Towers (Akeem & The Big Boss Man) (w/Slick).

At one point during the match Bossman and Akeem were double teaming a weakened Macho Man and gave him a sloppy double team backbreaker. The two then went to run off the ropes and give him a double team splash.

However that didn’t go off as planned, because when Bossman hit the ropes first, his weight pulled them down so that when Akeem went into them he fell right in-between the two and went crashing headfirst to the floor below.

Luckily he was able to escape serious injury.
